About
Coteccons Quang Binh Marathon 2022 is the first marathon in Vietnam with a track running through a giant wind farm on land, in order to bring a unique experience to the participating athletes. The race was organized by Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company in collaboration with the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province at B&T Wind Power Farm (Quang Binh), which is the largest onshore wind farm cluster in Vietnam.
Coming to Quang Binh in the summer of 2022, athletes will not only enjoy the cultural stories and long history of the heroic land but also experience many attractive tourist attractions. From the world's largest Son Doong Caves, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Headquarter to Nhat Le beach - one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. Specifically, athletes will experience a unique running track with giant wind power pylons, winding gravel roads between vast white sands at B&T Wind Power Farms. It will certainly be a memorable experience in every Athlete's luggage when participating in Coteccons Quang Binh Marathon 2022.
Coteccons Quang Binh Marathon 2022 is not only a race to win the championship, but also contributes to spreading the Green, Sustainable - Eco-friendly lifestyle. With the theme GREEN UP, the Coteccons Quang Binh Marathon will make the most of recycled and environmentally friendly materials. Especially, for every 5km athletes complete, Coteccons will plant one more tree in the greening journey of Vietnam at the call of the Prime Minister.

Join in the Coteccons Quang Binh Marathon 2022 in August, athletes will admire the breathtaking scenery where the giant turbines towering between the immense white sand dunes and the winding Nhat Le river in the distance. The highlight of the race is to give athletes the opportunity to immerse themselves in the majestic picture of nature, to relieve stress and recharge.
Especially, 2 champions at the distance of 21.1 km will win a special place to climb to the top of a wind turbine - with a height equivalent to a 50-storey building - exclusively from Coteccons Quang Binh Marathon 2022.

EXPLOSION WITH CAMPING-MUSIC FEST NIGHT: CHILL UP 2022
For the first time in Vietnam, Coteccons Quang Binh Marathon 2022 will organize a music party exclusively for athletes with Camping & Music Fest. Athletes has the opportunity to join the CAMPING and spend the night, hunting stars right at the foot of the giant wind power pylons in the vast desert.
Specifically, athletes after finishing will enjoy the victory with LIVE MUSIC SHOW: CHILL UP 2022, with the background of a magnificent wind power farm on a romantic sunset. Together with relatives and friends, enjoy the hottest songs of the moment as well as the specialties of Quang Binh right on the premises of the wind farm. Experiences for athletes to live slowly after a day of racing to break through their limits. This experience will surely satisfy athletes and make the trip more complete.

COTECCONS QUANG BINH MARATHON
The 5km distance is for athletes who are new to running, this will be a great starting point for you to love sports in general, and running in particular.
5km athletes will start at the gate area of the B&T Wind Power Farm, athletes will start in the direction of the WT19 turbine. After passing the WT20 turbine, 5km athletes will turn around to return to the finish line.
The running track of 5km athletes will also run on a small gravel road, flanked by white sandhills typical of the sunny and windy Quang Binh coastal land. 5km athletes have the opportunity to run through two turbine towers, WT19 and WT20.
The 10km distance is for athletes who have been practicing running for a while. Starting at the gate area of B&T Wind Power Farm, athletes will start in the direction of WT19 turbine. When reaching the WT22 turbine, athletes will turn around and run through the WT18 turbine towards the WT15 turbine. 10km athletes will turn around near the WT15 turbine to return to the finish line.
Similar to the 21.1km distance, 10km athletes will have a great experience when running on a small gravel road, flanked by white sandhills typical of the sunny and windy Quang Binh coastal land.
Athletes will run past giant turbine turrets and you can touch the turbines with your own hands, listen to the fan sound like that of an airplane engine and take impressive pictures. It will definitely be an unforgettable experience for you.
Starting at the gate area of B&T Wind Power Farm, athletes will start in the direction of turbines WT19, to WT22. Athletes will have a great experience when running on a small gravel road, flanked by giant wind power poles weaving between the typical white sand dunes of the sunny and windy Quang Binh coastal land.
After passing the WT22 turbine, athletes will return to run through the turbines from WT15 to WT10 and return to the finish line.
Athletes will run through giant wind turbines that are creating clean energy sources. You can touch the wind turbine poles with your own hands, listen to the fan sound like an airplane engine and take impressive pictures. It will definitely be an unforgettable experience for you.
