A completely new look

Coteccons - Le Phong Binh Duong Half Marathon 2023 with new elements - new location, new model, new audience, ready to bring special experiences to participating athletes. The race is co-organized by Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company and Le Phong Investment & Development Co., Ltd.

Binh Duong officially appears on Coteccons’ running map this August. This land converges new elements, bringing a new look to Coteccons - Le Phong Binh Duong Half Marathon 2023 and new experiences for participating athletes. Binh Duong - where “development miracles” are established, a key economic region in the South and also a suitable place to establish the first Cross Country running route in Vietnam. Athletes will not only be impressed by the dynamism, creativity, and modernity but also enjoy the vast beauty of nature, beautiful red dirt roads, rubber forests and vast green cassava gardens - a very different aspect in Binh Duong. This is also where Lego Group’s second largest factory in Asia worth 1 billion USD is located. In particular, the factory in Binh Duong will be Lego’s most sustainable factory in the world, using only solar power.

Binh Duong with its converging elements will be the “tailor” for Coteccons - Le Phong Binh Duong Half Marathon 2023 to explode.

The only Cross Country running route in Binh Duong

The Cross Country model is a unique highlight at Coteccons - Le Phong Binh Duong Half Marathon 2023.

The first national championship in the Cross Country model was also held in the UK in 1876. The most impressive point of Cross Country sports is the combined race track. The surface can be flat land, sparse forest, hills or gravel roads.

Coteccons - Le Phong Binh Duong Half Marathon 2023 will be a challenging and equally interesting Cross Country running route. The internal road of Bac Tan Uyen Industrial Park will fully display the beauty of modern, dynamic and developing Binh Duong province. Interspersed are rustic red dirt roads, leading athletes through cool rubber forests or admiring the vast greenery of vast cassava fields. Obstacles are designed to increase the challenge of the race while ensuring maximum safety for athletes.

This is a completely different experience from running around a crowded urban area with cars and people.

Continuing the spirit of GREEN UP, Coteccons - Le Phong Binh Duong Half Marathon 2023 hopes to spread the message of environmental protection and realize it through practical actions. The race maximizes the use of recycled, environmentally friendly materials in running shirt designs, race kits, medals, canvas bags, etc.

With an expected scale of 3,000 participating athletes and 1 tree planted for every 5km run, Coteccons is expected to plant an additional 10,000 green trees in areas that need greening on the journey to green Vietnam according to the call of the Prime Minister.

Running track 5km

The 5km distance is a suitable choice for athletes to nurture their initial love for running or to rekindle their love for sports, preparing for further goals.

5km distance athletes will start from the Lego Factory Exhibition area - Bac Tan Uyen Industrial Park, Binh Duong City. Athletes run on a journey with a 30% asphalt road and 70% red dirt trail interspersed with lush green rubber gardens and vast cassava fields.

In the middle of the running route, there will be 3 water stations.
